Unspoken

‘What are you thinking,’ He quietly asked. She bit her lip
Not knowing what to say
All the responses in mind her told her to be honest,
To tell him her worries
And all her regrets
The things that happened in the past and
All the things that caused her unrest
She looked at him with a crooked smile
And uttered a simple reply, ‘Nothing.’
